PROCESS QA FOR SOFTWARE

• Earable Vietnam. | Ha Noi City, Vietnam

• Working time: Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm

RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes, and methodologies to ensure consistent and high-quality software deliverables.

• Conduct reviews and audits of software development processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with project managers, software developers, and business analysts to define and document software development processes and quality requirements.

• Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and templates.

• Perform regular assessments and evaluations of the software development process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.

• Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process effectiveness and track quality improvement initiatives.

• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to educate team members on software development processes, quality standards, and best practices.

• Monitor and analyze software development metrics, such as defect rates, test coverage, and cycle time, to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, including the adoption of automation tools, test frameworks, and quality assurance methodologies.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software development processes and quality assurance practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Process QA or similar role, with a strong background in software development processes and quality assurance.

• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases.

• Experience in conducting process assessments, audits, and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Familiarity with quality assurance tools, test management systems, and defect tracking systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on process excellence and continuous improvement.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Professional certifications in quality assurance, such as Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), are a plus
