An Important Update for Our Android Users

Over the past few months, our engineering team has been working hard to upgrade the FRENZ Sleep app's backend infrastructure. We've migrated to a new, more reliable server system that's faster, more secure, and better equipped to support the features we have planned for the future.

As part of this transition, we've made the difficult decision to discontinue the FRENZ Sleep app on Android, effective March 27, 2026.

Why We Made This Decision

This wasn't a choice we made lightly. We know many of you have been using FRENZ on Android, and we deeply appreciate your loyalty and support.

The reality is that maintaining two separate platforms — each with its own set of challenges, testing requirements, and development cycles — has been stretching our small team thin. By focusing entirely on iOS, we can deliver a significantly better experience: faster updates, more thorough testing, and new features that we've been wanting to build for a long time.

We believe this decision, while painful in the short term, will ultimately benefit the entire FRENZ community.

What This Means for You

If you're on Android

After March 27, 2026, the Android app will no longer be able to log in or connect to our servers. The app will stop working for all account and cloud-based features.

📌 Before March 27
Please don't delete the Android app yet. As long as it stays installed and you remain logged in, you can continue using it normally until the cutoff date. Deleting the app early will remove any locally stored sleep data.

To continue using your FRENZ Brainband with full functionality, we recommend switching to an iPhone (iOS 15 or later). Your account will be waiting for you — just download the FRENZ Sleep app from the App Store and log in with the same credentials.

If you're on iOS

Great news — you just need to update your app! Open the App Store, search for "FRENZ Sleep," and tap "Update" to get the latest version (3.5.01 or later).

💡 Important
Please update directly from the App Store — don't delete the app first. Deleting before updating may result in the loss of your locally stored sleep session data. A direct update keeps everything safe.
