RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead a team of technically strong software engineers (20+ headcounts) to deliver breakthrough mobile apps (Android and iOS) to help improve human cognitive functions through a wearable device called Frenz Brainband.  

• Design, architect, and implement new software functions and features following the direction set forth by the BoD

• Ensure delivery is consistent with Agile processes across the teams;

• Implement mechanisms and use industry-standard tools to monitor, manage, and report progress on all software development activities from the team.

• Accountable for the on-time and quality delivery of software development projects;

• Create, implement, and maintain a continuous improvement plan for software development;

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Real-world experience in building actual IoT systems (familiarity with Bluetooth connections, and integration between Software systems and Machine learning algorithms are a must)

• Must hold a computer science, computer engineering, or relevant degree with 10+ years of experience in building software products.

• Must have technical background (at least 8 years of writing code) and managerial experience (at least 3 years of experience leading/managing a team).  

• Demonstrated experience building and operating directly to consumer products.

• Having practical experience in data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance would be a plus (optional)
