THE WORLD’S FIRST AI-POWERED SLEEP WEARABLE now in the FINALS of the 15th Healthcare Innovation World Cup® at MEDICA

Earable Neuroscience presented the innovative FRENZ™ Brainband in MEDICA, Duesseldorf on November 15, 2023. The product is envisioned to aid in enhancing sleep and well-being for millions of people worldwide and is the result of a collaboration with top-notch sleep experts and researchers.

Earable® Inc. has introduced its latest wearable technology, the FRENZ™ Brainband, at MEDICA 2023 in Düsseldorf. The FRENZ™ Brainband is the world's first wearable that can track and stimulate brain activities via bone conduction speakers to facilitate better quality sleep, focus, and relaxation. The device was showcased at Hall 12 Stand D33.

The FRENZ™ Brainband promises to disrupt sleep tech with its innovative features. It is equipped with closed-loop real-time acoustic stimulation that can help users achieve better sleep quality and relaxation.

Earable® Inc. has conducted a comprehensive study on the efficacy of the FRENZ™ Brainband as a wearable sleep aid device. The study was published on Nature Scientific Reports and showed promising results, as the device received positive feedback from leading experts globally.

The FRENZ™ Brainband was first unveiled at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, where it won the CES Innovation Awards for the Wearable Technology category. The device has since been launched globally and is now available for purchase on the official FRENZ™ website, Amazon, and selected flagship stores including Smartech at Selfridges London and Museum Of The Future Dubai.

The FRENZ™ Brainband is accompanied by a mobile app that provides personalized audio content based on the user's brain reactions and sleep patterns. The app also features a smart alarm that wakes up the user gradually at the optimal point in the sleep cycle.

Earable® Inc. has collaborated with the University of Oxford and the University of Colorado to conduct research on the efficacy of the FRENZ™ Brainband as a wearable sleep aid device. The study has shown that the device can significantly help users fall asleep faster, with an average reduction of 24.1 minutes in sleep onset for 377 individuals who experienced difficulties falling asleep. The study also shows an 88% sleep-scoring precision compared to the gold-standard PSG.
FRENZ™ is a Brainband that uses neurofeedback to interact with the brain in a precise way. It applies sound methods that are scientifically validated to improve sleep quality:

  • Precisely track several vital data points (EEG - brain signal – filtered into brain frequencies of Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, EOG - eye movement, EMG - micro facial movements, SpO2, heart rate..) in real-time.
  • Provide instant personalized feedback with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) content for users to adjust and improve their cognitive functions via the device’s integrated bone-conduction speakers.
  • Leverage deep machine learning to provide meaningful insights like sleep and focus portraits.

The FRENZ™ Brainband has received multiple global awards, including the CES Innovation Awards 2023 and the Red Dot Design Award 2023. The device has been featured in leading publications such as BBC, Bloomberg, Mashable, GlobeNewswire, and USAToday.

Tam Vu, the Founder and CEO of Earable® Neuroscience, shared:
“Our vision is to make neuroscience innovations accessible to everyone, everywhere through improved sleep quality, enhanced cognitive functions, and unlocked brain power. The FRENZ™ Brainband is the next wearable sensation that can disrupt the sleep tech industry and help billions of people.

Furthermore, the FRENZ™ Brainband has 15 patents and patent-pending for our core technologies in machine learning algorithms, material science, and electrical engineering. To deliver instant audio stimulation, FRENZ™ integrates behind-the-ear bone-conduction speakers inside innovative sound chambers to withstand head pressure and avoid sound distortion despite all sleep positions. The device's over-ear dry-sensing electrodes (FRENZ™Touch) are strategically placed at optimal locations to track and reference strong signal sources amidst the noise. FRENZTouch, made of a proprietary perfect-ratio mixture of nanomaterials, including carbon nanotubes, silver nanowires, and conductive silicon, under a special curing process, has flawless conduction while maintaining comfort in any sleeping position.”
